Image Designs for Course Materials

I used Adobe Spark to create a series of consistent motivational images within an LMS orientation redesign targeting new online students. The images were pulled from Adobe Spark stock images. The text is mine. This image series leads each new module within the orientation design in order to engage students via multimodal messaging.

I used Canva to create this image welcoming students to a workshop about the process to develop and submit a portfolio for prior learning assessment (PLA) credit at Arapahoe Community College. The challenge of using stock images is to ensure diverse representation. I worked with the workshop collaborators to identify images that invoked prior work experience and BIPOC representation. ALT text for images must capture all words portrayed on the graphic.
